Update from Dallas police Thursday at 8:35 a.m.: Shirley and Lawrence Parker have been located and are safe.

Dallas police are asking for help from the public as they search for Shirley and Lawrence Parker, missing from the Presbyterian Village North retirement community since 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The Parkers were last seen driving a 2003 gold Honda CRV with Texas license plate 9HCXW. Police say they may be confused and in need of assistance.

Lawrence Parker is 86 years old with gray hair and blue eyes. He is 6’2” tall and weighs about 175 pounds. When last seen he was wearing glasses, a red t-shirt and blue jeans.

Shirley Parker, also 86, has gray hair and brown eyes. She is 5’0” tall and weighs about 130. She was last seen wearing glasses, a blue flannel jacket, t-shirt and blue jeans.

The Parkers were last seen in the 8700 block of Westminster Terrace near Greenville Avenue and Forest Lane. If you think you may have spotted them, police ask you to call 911 or the DPD Missing Persons Unit at 214-671-4268.
