Jersey Mike’s

Get your taste buds ready. Wednesday is Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” benefitting Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer, with 100% of sales – not just the profit – going to local charities. That means every Big Kahuna, every Stickball Special, every Jersey Shore’s Favorite ordered online or in-store will help fund lifesaving research and support children with cancer and their families.

The Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer campaign, which has included collecting donations all month during March, is nationwide at Jersey Mike’s, but Dalton Stewart, who owns the franchise in the Lake Highlands Town Center, says the effort began right here in North Texas. In 2010, he began partnering with Cindy Brinker Simmons, founder of Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer. Since then, more than $32 million has been raised for more than 200 charities. Funds raised locally Wednesday will be matched by Jersey Mike’s.

“We are excited to celebrate this year to support this wonderful organization and their lifesaving mission,” said Stewart. “Now with the added commitment from Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems we can do even more. On March 31, please join us: eat a sub and help children with cancer.”
