In its 15-year run, the late-September outdoor event has often seen temperatures well into the 90s. This year’s Oktoberfest Dallas, scheduled for Sept. 27 at Flag Pole Hill, looks somewhat cooler, with temperatures expected to top out in the high 80s.

According to the National Weather Service’s Dallas-Love Field forecast for Saturday, attendees can expect temperature highs in the upper 80s during the daytime and lows in the mid-60s.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. this Saturday. In addition to a vendor market, food tents and beverage stands, attendees can watch live performances on the Tate Gorman Memorial Stage from 4:30 p.m. to closing time. Six bands from the Lake Highlands School of Music will also play at the Festival Hall.

While Superfreak and Red, a Taylor Swift Tribute are both still slated to perform as originally scheduled, there have been some changes to the lineup. The Jukebox Legends will no longer perform, while cover band Jukebox Heroes and Mr. CJ’s Band, a funky combination of New Orleans funk and Deadhead rhythms, have both been added to the lineup.

Food offerings remain mostly unchanged from last year, with one notable exception being the replacement of Cane Rosso as the event’s pizza vendor with Greenville Avenue Pizza Company. GAPCO will have an oven on-site and will sell pizza by the slice, a change from Cane Rosso’s personal pizzas.

Pre-sale bands and tickets are available on the Oktoberfest website. As long as they have a band, attendees will be free to leave and return at their discretion.
