More Like Wynne
Shady’s Burgers and Brewhaha will team up with the Dallas Foundation Monday to donate 100% of proceeds from food and drink sales to the More Like Wynne fund. Wynne Naylor was a student at Lake Highlands Elementary and a participant at Camp Mystic when floodwaters overwhelmed her cabin along the banks of the Guadalupe River.
Naylor’s family set up the fund to honor her memory, and donations may be made directly online here or at Shady’s on July 14. The event at Shady’s will go on all day for dine-in customers only.
Shady’s features juicy burgers, crispy fries, creamy shakes and ice-cold beer, with a welcoming Cheers-style bar and shaded, family-friendly patio. The original location in Canyon Creek opened in 2013, and the Lake Highlands spot is celebrating their tenth anniversary this year.
You’ll find the full Shady’s menu here.
Shady’s is at 9661 Audelia.
