With Lake Highlands High School’s graduation coming up this weekend, Richardson ISD and the City of Richardson have announced commencement information and parking restrictions.
The LHHS Class of 2025 will graduate on May 24 at 8 p.m. at Richardson High School’s Mustang Eagle Stadium. Parking in surrounding neighborhoods will be strictly enforced, RISD officials have announced.
According to a resident notification flyer, the City of Richardson will implement temporary parking restrictions in the neighborhoods surrounding RHS from May 22, when Pearce High School will graduate, through May 24. Portions of surrounding streets closed to parking will be denoted by temporary signage. District officials are encouraging families to carpool ahead of the event. A map of parking restrictions can be found here.
No tickets will be required to attend the graduation ceremony and there is no limit to the number of friends and family allowed to attend. There will also be live streams of each graduation ceremony available on risd.org (recordings will be available on RISD’s YouTube channel afterwards).
Certain items, including noisemakers, balloons, wrapped gifts, tripods and umbrellas, will not be allowed within the stadium. To review RISD’s clear bag policy, click here.
