Beginning with a reception May 3, Party Animals, an exhibition featuring the works of Stormie Parker and Julia Mclain, will go on display at the Bath House. The reception will run from 6-8 p.m. and entertainment will be provided by local band Standards Gazette.

A description of the gallery on the Bath House’s website reads:

The show includes both individual works and collaborative mixed-media pieces that blend the artists’ distinct styles. Each artwork radiates a sense of warmth and nostalgia, calling on childhood memories and the timeless joy of animals as companions, mischief-makers, and muses. This combination of talents results in an engaging experience that resonates with viewers of all ages.

Both artists are North Texas based. Stormie Parker specializes in ceramic 3D sculpture work, while Mclain is an illustrator specializing in recreating the feel of vintage imagery.

The exhibition is free to attend and will run through June 7.
