Jennifer Taylor will discuss her new cookbook, “Guitars and Gatherings”
Lake Highlands United Methodist Church’s Older Adult Ministry Program will welcome musician, speaker and author Jennifer Taylor on Wednesday. Members and guests of all ages are welcome, and the event is free.
Taylor is owner and CEO of Old Quail Run, an urban farm and event center in Sherman, Texas. Old Quail Run features farm-to-table dinners, intimate music performances by country musicians, and community gatherings, and helps guests make memories with friends and family.
Taylor will share stories of writing her newly published cookbook, “Gatherings and Guitars: Making Memories One Meal and Song at a Time.” She’ll explain how her life as a musician, beauty queen, and caterer led to creating magical dinners at Old Quail Run Farm.
The event begins at 1 p.m. on April 16 in Room A 117. LHUMC is at 9015 Plano Road.
