With a ribbon cutting ceremony planned for March 13, the franchise concept will officially open its doors to the public on March 14 at 3 p.m. The winery is open until 10 p.m. on Fridays.

Based in California, Waters Edge is a franchise concept with locations in California, Kentucky, Montana, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia. Wines are made at local franchises using crushed grapes imported from Vineyards around the world, including from countries such as France, Italy and Chile.

The Dallas location will offer a bistro menu of appetizers, meat and cheese boards, and flatbreads. Mains include an asparagus risotto ($21), 24-hour brined pork chop ($42), chicken breast ($31) and falafel ($24). Each menu item comes with a suggested wine pairing.

The winery also offers an array of membership options, which give members free wine tastings, discounts and invites to exclusive events.

Neighbors can visit Waters Edge 6 days a week, with the winery closed on Mondays.Â
