Panda Express officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday.
Chu the Panda joined Wildcat cheerleaders from Lake Highlands High School Tuesday for the grand opening of the newest Panda Express. The fast casual restaurant at 9237 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway near Greenville Avenue is part of the largest family-owned and operated Asian dining concept in America.
Panda Express is growing, and this new shop reflects their trend toward a reduced indoor seat count. Research indicates a current customer preference for online and drive-thru ordering, officials said in a release.
