Hello Dumpling, which opened a second location at The Hill Shopping Center in 2022, is expected to be featured soon on Guy Fieri’s popular Food Network show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, reports Culture Map.

Dallas Dumplings, Florida Fried and Chi-Tacos” is expected to premiere on Friday, Feb. 21. The episode will be the second released in Triple-D’s 41st season.

There’s amazing Asian in Dallas, dishin’ out delicious dumplings and traditional beef noodle soup,” reads the episode’s Food Network episode description. Dumplings are — believe it or not — the top seller at the casual eatery, followed by braised beef soup noodles. Not convinced yet? Culture Map previously reported in December that Fieri had visited seven local spots — Hello Dumpling was the sole restaurant listed offering dumplings on its menu.

But Hello Dumpling has two locations, and previous reports did not specify which location will be featured. However, Triple-D blog Flavor Town USA’s website seems to indicate The Hill location as the featured eatery.

Fieri previously visited our area in 2021, when Triple-D featured One90 Smoked Meats on Northwest Highway.

Hello Dumpling launched in 2017 in Lochwood offering a short-but-sweet menu filled with small plates and close to ten dumpling varieties. The most popular dumplings (deservingly) come filled with pork and napa cabbage, and other varieties include fish, chicken and beef. More substantial fare can be found with soup noodles and hot plates like the Hunan rib.

Due to non-disclosure agreements, restaurants potentially featured are unable to confirm participation, so until the episode airs, it will be impossible to know whether or not Hello Dumpling made the final cut (but we aren’t betting against it ).
