This weekend, neighbors will get a glimpse into some of the neighborhood’s most festive homes with the Lake Highlands Women’s League’s annual Holiday in the Highlands Home Tour.
The event, which raises money for LHHS college scholarships and other community efforts, features four seasonally decorated homes located in Lake Highlands. Homes will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, and tickets can be purchased for $30.
One especially notable home featured in the home tour this year is the historic Moss House at 9311 Moss Circle Drive, which was built in the 1930s by wealthy oilman Harry S. Moss. The house was featured in Architectural Digest in the 1950s and has been renovated by the current owners.
Other homes featured in the home tour are located at:
- 7737 Eagle Trail
- 8728 Fenchurch
- 9617 Shadydale
Well-decorated homes may be the biggest draw, but there is some shopping to do as well. The Sip and Shop brings over 20 local vendors together at the Kaycee Club to kick off the festivities on Thursday. Neighbors with a Home Tour ticket will receive a complimentary glass of champagne. The market will be open from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
Tickets for the Home Tour can be purchased from the Women’s League’s website. The event is open to all neighbors aged 10 and above.
