Thanksgiving is finally here, and if you’re wondering what grocery stores are open for last-minute necessities, here’s a list of what’s open in the neighborhood for Turkey Day.
Kroger: Open 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The grocer has shortened its hours for the holiday, and the pharmacy is expected to be closed.
Kroger locations in Lake Highlands are located at 10677 E Northwest Highway and 9140 Forest Lane.
Tom Thumb: Open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location in Lake Highlands: 8698 Skillman St.
Sprout’s: Open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location in Lake Highlands: 7110 Skillman St.
Closed: Target, Walmart, Aldi and most local restaurants and shops.
Some local bars like Tailgater’s Sports Bar and Grill will be open with limited hours (call for more information). Lake Highlands Cafe will be open from 8 a.m to 1 p.m.
