California-based Panda Express is preparing to open a new store in northern Lake Highlands. The restaurant chain is known for their American Chinese cuisine.
Panda Express is the largest family-owned and operated Asian dining concept in America, with more than 2,500 locations. The company revamped their store model last year to accommodate an increased demand for online and drive-thru ordering, and they reduced the seat count to enlarge the back-of-house area.
The Panda Express menu includes traditional favorites such as orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp and Beijing beef. Fried rice, chow mein noodles and a fried apple pie roll will complete your order.
Construction is not yet complete on the new building at 9237 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway (between Abrams and Greenville), and an opening date has not been announced. If you’re looking for a job, you may visit PandaCareers.com for more information.
