The indoor playground at Medallion Center, Down to Play, has announced a Wednesday arts and crafts series. The series will run through the end of October.
Down to Play’s Arts & Crafts Wednesdays cost anywhere from $12 to nothing, and will take place each Wednesday in October. The arts and crafts will be available from 10 a.m to 6p.m. Signups can be found here.
Down to Play opened in July as an inclusive, sensory-friendly indoor playground. The couple behind the business, Joel and Kelsey Doolen, started Down to Play with the intention of creating an inclusive space for children “of all abilities.” Open play is open for walk-ins and reservations at $20 a child, with up to two adults included in the price of admission.
The Arts & Crafts Wednesdays schedule is as follows:
October 2: Halloween Foam Ornaments (Admission Price: Free)
October 9: DIY Fall Sensory Bin – (Admission Price: $12)
October 16: Halloween Cookie Decorating with Smallcakes – (Admission Price: $12)
October 23: DIY Halloween Sensory Bin – (Admission Price: $12)
October 30: Pumpkin Decorating – (Admission Price: $10)
