Following the death of on-duty Dallas Police officer Darron Burks, public funeral and visitation times have been announced.

Burks, a 1998 graduate of Lake Highlands High School, was fatally shot late last Thursday night in Oak Cliff by 30-year-old Corey Cobb-Bey while in his patrol car. A former high school math teacher and recent academy graduate, Burks has been described as kind and devout.
Both the funeral and visitations will take place at Watermark Church, located at 7540 LBJ Freeway.
