Keann Guthrie
A junior from Lake Highlands High School was recently named to the 2023-24 NISCA Girls One Meter Diving All-America Team.
Keann Guthrie was named as one of 100 All-Americans last Thursday by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association. To qualify for the Team, athletes must be academically eligible as determined by the school or state athletic association and be awarded at least 375 points and a 13 for degree of difficulty on optional drives at a scholastic 11-dive meet. Submissions are open to divers in grades 9-12.
Guthrie was awarded 378 points at the UIL Region 2-6A Championship in February, winning first place. Notably, Guthrie was the sole diver from Dallas proper to make the girls team.
