Stuart Stephenson has been DSO’s Principal Trumpet since the 2022/23 season. He attended Julliard, teaches at SMU and runs a private music studio. Stephenson previously held the same position at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

“We can and do play everything,” Stephenson says. “Take a chance on a concert that you don’t think you’ll enjoy and be surprised!”

Mary Reynolds plays violin in DSO. She’s a University of Southern California graduate, with three adult daughters and previously experience as the Principal Second Violinist in the Houston Grand Opera.

Ted Soluri became Principal Bassoon of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in 2015, and holds the prestigious the Irene H. Wadel & Robert I. Atha, Jr. Chair. Before DSO, he held the same role with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for 11 years, and nine years with the Santa Fe Opera before that.
