Sportswriters from ScorebookLive.com, the Texas high school athletics offshoot of Sports Illustrated, studied the most amazing, the most outrageous, the most eye-popping moments from the 2023 season and delivered the Top Ten. Unsurprisingly, Lake Highlands’ own Tripp and Tripp were part of that elite bunch.
Tripp Holley’s game-winning pass to wide receiver Tripp Marshall came in at number two. Loyal fans will recall that was the walk-off score against Richardson Oct. 13 to win 28-21 in overtime.
