Dallas Police Department responded to a burglary call on Nov. 1 at around 11:30 p.m.
The burglary was in progress in the 7100 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. When officers arrived, they found 42-year-old Danny Walker unresponsive inside the home. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, according to a press release by Dallas Police.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Walker’s death a homicide, according to The Dallas Morning News.
The investigation is currently ongoing, and has been referred to the Dallas County Grand Jury.
