A man was shot and killed in Lake Highlands on Sunday evening.
On Oct. 22 around 8:30 pm, police responded to a shooting call in the 9600 block of Skillman Street. They found Jamarkus Holmes, 25, shot in a business parking lot in the 10000 block of Forest Lane. After investigating, police concluded that Holmes got into an argument with an unknown male suspect, who then shot the victim. Holmes died at the scene, according to Dallas PD.
The investigation is ongoing.
