At about 12:30 p.m. yesterday (Sunday, July 30), responders to a 911 call found a stabbing victim near the 8900 block of Vantage Point. The unnamed victim died from his wounds after being transported to a nearby hospital, according to the preliminary police report.
Now police are trying to find out who is responsible. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call detective Guy Curtis, 214.671.3633 or email him at guy.curtis@dallaspolice.gov.

This crime scene is near what we dubbed last year the ‘Hotel from Hell’ after attending an October 2022 meeting to discuss rezoning the property for housing.
This is an area of our neighborhood that is a known a hotbed of criminal activity. Proponents of the pending supportive housing that will go in the 9000 block hope for a dramatic transformation of the property.
