The LHPID is hosting a Teen Job Fair May 6 at LHHS.
Is your business looking for dependable employees? Check out the Teen Job Fair sponsored by the Lake Highlands Public Improvement District (LHPID) May 6. This annual event joins local employers with area teens 18 and older seeking summer jobs.
The job fair will be held at Lake Highlands High School, 9449 Church Road, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and setup will begin at 9:30. LHPID director Vicky Taylor can provide an application at Vicky.Taylor@LHPID.org.
Besides a handy paycheck, students who work acquire useful skills and work ethic, and they collect people who can vouch for their abilities and character. Every teen who turns in a job application at the fair will be entered into a drawing for a gift card. If your business is interested in donating gift cards, email Taylor to participate.
