Earth Day happens this Saturday, and rock climbing gym Movement has activities and a vendor pop-up planned for the weekend.
The gym will hold an Earth Day Palooza from noon – 4 p.m. Saturday at The Hill location. Neighbors can expect sustainable vendors, a free bootcamp fitness camp, free yoga flow class and information on community involvement and volunteering.
Pop-up vendors include Texas Climbers Coalition, Explore More, Leave No Trace, Clean Juice and more. Fitness classes will take place beforehand at 10 a.m. and noon on The Hill courtyard.
That Saturday morning, Movement will also host an Earth Day bike ride from 10 a.m. -noon at Bike Friendly South Dallas.
The Movement location in the Design District will hold a Y2K themed festival from 6:30 Â – 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. The event will include a set from DJ Parsingularity, cocktails, burritos from Oak Cliff’s Peaberry, a raffle, glow in the dark yoga and local vendors.
