Dallas Police were involved in a standoff this afternoon at the QuikTrip on Skillman and Eastridge Drive. Every intersection leading to the gas station was blocked by police as officers surrounded a black sedan parked in front. The suspect inside the car would not exit and officers remained a distance away from the car and never engaged with the suspect directly.
There seemed to be no imminent danger to the area or to the onlookers at the surrounding businesses, but some officers did have tasers and shields pulled.
At time of press, no information has been released about the incident or suspect inside the car.
