The Cafe Hope Coffee trailer has found new grounds for serving locals hot and iced coffees.
Owned by Lake Highlands neighbor Branden Johnson, proceeds from coffee sales benefit the Hope Bilingual Academy in Nicaragua. The coffee beans used for the beverages are also harvested from Nicaragua.
Previously, the trailer’s home base was in the Chevron parking lot on Skillman Street. Now, coffee-loving neighbors can find the trailer at La Victoria on Haskell Avenue in East Dallas.
Johnson explained that the reason for the move was increasing costs to use the lot at the Chevron station, but there has been a lot more traction at the Ross Avenue location since setting up March 6.
Hope Cafe Coffee is open Monday through Friday. More details and hours can be found on the Instagram page.
La Victoria is located at 1605 N. Haskell Avenue.
