Mark Wahlberg and Abraham Ancer
Another celebrity duo is coming into town on their liquor tour. This time, it’s actor Mark Wahlberg and Mexican-American pro golfer Abraham Ancer signing bottles of their tequila.
In January, Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul made their way to Total Wine and More for a mezcal promo tour.
This time around, Wahlberg and Ancer will hold a tequila signing event from 1 – 3 p.m. Friday at the Specs on North Central Expressway. Customers are encouraged to arrive early in anticipation of long lines.
Ancer co-founded the tequila brand, Flecha Azul Tequila, alongside Mexican entrepreneur Aron Marquezin in 2016 and launched it in 2020. Backed by Mark Wahlberg, the additive-free tequila is available in Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, Añejo Cristalino and Extra Añejo.
The tequila was crafted in Jalisco, Mexico and produced by a multi-generational, family-owned and operated distillery.
