Dallas Public Library is hosting an African storytelling event this Friday at Audelia Road Branch Library.
Children’s author Ada Ari will lead the storytelling from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. with folktales from Ghana and Nigeria. Kids will also have the opportunity to learn African dance, and language, cultural fun facts and activities related to both countries.
Ari is the author of three children’s books: The Spider’s Thin Legs, The Turtle’s Cracked Shell and The Lion’s Promise. She also has a series of African language books tailored to young children.
Audelia Road Library is located at 10045 Audelia Road.
