Keith Ruffner and friend
Author Keith Ruffner and co-creator Beth Wuller will be at Half Price Books Sunday to share their new children’s book, Making Friends with Feelings, but they know they won’t be the star attractions. They’re bringing along their real-life bunnies, the bouncy, fluffy creatures who inspired their story.
Molly, Buddy and Shiner, the characters in their picture book, are like children (and adults) around the world — they sometimes feel scared, sad, happy and angry. Over the course of the story, they learn to support each other, apologize when mistaken and forgive their friends.
Ruffner, Wuller and the bunnies will be on hand from 1-3 p.m. at Half Price’s flagship store, 5803 E. Northwest Highway. They’ll have coloring pages from the book for children to enjoy.
