Senior Housing News granted the award as part of its Architecture and Design Awards. Presbyterian Village’s exterior, library, lobby, courtyard garden and dining room were highlighted for the award.

The senior living community has seen several renovations over the years, and the most recent changes were completed in June.

“Residents are greeted by an unfolding garden setting, the arrival sequence revealing the 17,000-square-foot Corrigan Building, where a dramatic wood-and-steel cantilevered shelter shades the paved drop-off area,” the description reads on the award website.

Unused apartment residences were also demolished to make room for The Hawthorne, a now 112-unit space.
