SELENA AT THE FAIR
Selena performed at the State Fair of Texas for several years, including in 1994, less than six months before she died at age 23. The above photo, from that performance, is by Gilbert Cortez, who ran a magazine and cable-access show with his wife, Rosemary, called Tejano Connection, in the ’80s and ’90s. They got to know the singer and her family well over the years, and Gilbert even filmed a music video with her at a local park before she became a star. (More)

North Texas’ own Stormy Daniels clapped back at Melania Trump, who called her a “porn hooker” in secretly recorded audio released in 2020. It was an ugly exchange of words between the former first lady and the woman who sold her silence to former President Donald Trump. Daniels, a porn star, is only one of the sexy Dallas blondes whose bodacious physique and Western wink drew admirers and haters from all around.
