The National Aurtism Foundation, a nonprofit providing affordable therapy and art therapy to children with autism, is hosting a gala right at the edge of Lake Highlands next month.

You may have thought the ‘r’ in Autism was a typo, but it’s a connector for art and autism. Ken Harrison, CEO of H Investments and founder of the organization, was inspired by his 11-year-old son to start the foundation in 2019.

His son has autism, and the organization’s purpose is to give other children on the autism spectrum a creative outlet. The organization also gives back to the community by providing resources and groceries for families in need.

The Lamborghini Ball, which will take place on Oct. 20 at the Lamborghini dealership on 601 S Central Expy, is a gala raising funds for adding a Dallas location for the foundation. There are currently two other locations in Las Vegas, Nevada and Arizona.

This event will include dinner, a live auction, music, and comedic performances featuring business owners, athletes. Guests for the night include DJ Duffey and Ken Hamlin. Tickets and more details can be found here.

Update 10/27/22: The date of the gala has been changed to Dec. 10.
