The Family Place’s Partners Card, which raises funds for the domestic violence resource organization, is celebrating its 30th anniversary starting Oct. 28.
Cards are currently on sale for the annual fundraising event until Nov. 6. Each $75 card purchase donates 100% to The Family Place and pays for a one night stay for a domestic violence survivor.
Neighbors also receive a 20% discount at retailers and a 10% discount at restaurants participating in Partners Card during the 10-day 30th anniversary fundraiser, which runs from Oct. 28 – Nov. 6.
The week-long event will be led by co-chairs (pictured above)Â Andrea Cheek, Wynne McNabb Cunningham, Hannah Fagadau, Lisa Hewitt, and honorary chair Paula Davis.
The Partners Card was first launched in 1993 as a way to support the services and programs provided by the Family Place. That first year had 175 participating stores. This year, there’s more than 700 stores.
Cards can be purchased on the Partners Card website.
