An East Dallas chef recently launched a business to make and deliver sweet and savory treats to our neighborhood.
Keith Cedotal, originally from San Antonio, started KEESH — “Keith’s Epic East-Side House” — a Texas “bake-aurant” with a French twist.
“I live in East Dallas and love this community,” Cedotal says in a news release. “So I want to launch a brand I know people here will appreciate. I hope they will taste my Texas roots and international heritage in what I’m making.”
Weekend delivery is available for residents in the following ZIP codes: 75206, 75214, 75223, 75228, 75218 and 75238. In the future, Cedotal plans to open a brick-and-mortar shop.
Growing up, he enjoyed eating foods made by his French and Mexican grandparents. Cedotal attended culinary school in Dallas and throughout his career, he has been a chef at restaurants and venues including Hotel ZaZa, The Adolphus, Craft, Uchi, Top Knot, Billy Can Can, Hatchways Café and more. He was the opening executive chef of Malai Kitchen in 2011.
Orders should be placed online by 4 p.m. Thursday for delivery Saturday or Sunday. The drop-off time is 8-11 a.m., and there’s a $4 delivery fee.
