Our neighborhood thrift and consignment store, ReSell It, is closing its doors at Northlake Center by the end of this month.
Owned by neighbor Dee Blakely, ReSell It has been in Lake Highlands for 25 years. In an email to longtime shoppers, Blakely announced the store’s closing and that they are no longer accepting consignments.
Nothing bad has happened, Blakely says, she’s just ready for a change.
“I’m retiring after 25 years, and this has nothing to do with money. The landlord’s been great, business has been great still, and I’d like to go out and have new adventures,” she says.
The store will be closing at the end of July, or sooner if all the merchandise is sold.
The current store hours are 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday though Saturday and 1 – 5 p.m. Sunday.
