Mora began his day at 8:51 a.m. by walking into the Exxon at Abrams and Royal, pulling out a handgun and demanding money. He then moved across the parking lot to hold up the Walgreens. By 9:15 he had crossed Royal Lane and was robbing the EZ Stop convenience store. By 9:24 he’d traveled south to Park Lane to hold up the 7-11, then he crossed the parking lot to the 710 Vapers shop. His last stop was the QuikTrip on Skillman near Home Depot.

Police spotted Mora, who by then had been reported to authorities and photographed by witnesses on cell phone cameras. In his car they found a black handgun, stolen cash and drug paraphernalia.

Mora’s brother told police the two had stayed with family members near the Walgreen’s the night before the hold ups. He said he noticed his car and handgun were missing when he got up Thursday morning.

Mora was taken to the Dallas County jail and charged with aggravated robbery. His bond was set at $100,000.
