A third-grade math and science teacher at L.L. Hotchkiss Elementary is one of 12 finalists for DISD’s 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year.
Noemi Arnal Villalba is nominated as a finalist in the primary category and is a Distinguished Teacher on campus. She previously taught at Ceasar Chavez Learning Center and schools in Barcelona, Spain.
As a training member of the Dallas/Fort Worth area project for National Parent Teacher Home Visit, a new approach to parent-teacher conferences, she presented three consecutive years from 2016-2018 at the NPTHV Gathering.
Villalba also graduated in Spain from Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona.
