The Family Place brings back ReuNight, the annual spring fundraiser for the family violence service agency, on Thursday, May 12.
The fundraiser will be held at the Nasher Sculpture Center Garden and follow An Evening in Provenance theme with a catered French-themed dinner. There will be tables for 175 patrons in the Sculpture Gardens, according to a news release.
This year’s honorary chair is Shelle Sills, principal consultant at Sills Consulting. Sills was owner of The Gazebo women’s store for 17 years, served as vice president and general manager of the downtown location of Neiman Marcus until 2012 and was an executive vice president at Centennial Real Estate in Lake Highlands.
Speakers at the charity event include co-chairs Marisa Howard, Roni Proter Kelly and Max Trowbridge.
Howard is a children’s book author with a penchant for poetry. She serves as Director of Communications at GeneIQ, a molecular diagnostics company headquartered in Dallas.
Proter is an award-winning journalist, television personality and chef at Dinner Reinvented. She’s based in Dallas.
Trowbridge is the founder of Eve & Max, a womenswear brand, and the cofounder of Artrinity, a collective of contemporary art projects. She served as honorary chair for The Family Place’s Partners Card in 2018.
