You’ll have to wait until May 8 to learn the winner of the RISD election for school board, but Lake Highlands Advocate conducted an informal poll after last night’s District 5 candidate forum at Oak Highlands Brewery. Rachel McGowan received 52% of the vote, while Jan Stell and Kile Brown tied with 24% each.

There’s almost a month until early voting begins April 25, and voters are certain to hear more from each candidate in the coming days.
