Three Dallas police officers required hospitalization after their squad cars were rammed by a suspect overnight. The officers were injured during a standoff in an apartment parking lot at 9350 Skillman as they attempted to arrest a wanted felony suspect.

The incident began about 2:30 a.m. Saturday when officers located the man driving a dark colored sedan in the apartment complex and attempted a high-risk traffic stop. As he began to flee in his car, the suspect struck multiple occupied squad cars and vehicles parked in the lot. An officer then pulled in behind to block the suspect’s exit, and the man opened fire on police. An officer returned fire, but no one was struck during the exchange.
