Lake Highlands and Plano traded the lead several times during the game, but sophomore Tre Johnson led the team with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals, and the entire team kept their cool under pressure. Rowdy student sections on both sides of the arena kept the energy level high, and LH students were seen congratulating Plano players after the game on an admirable season.

Martin was considered the underdog in their game against Denton Guyer Friday, and they trailed by 11 in the second half. A late rally earned them the 47-46 win.
