Genuine Article Brand is a new brand communications firm founded by three Richards Group public relations alums.
The founding group consists of Stacie Barnett, Elizabeth Clayton and Greg Miller with more than 50 years of combined experience. Clayton is also a Lake Highlands neighbor.
Clayton has about 10 years under her belt handling cause-based strategic communications for organizations like The Salvation Army, Scottish Rite for Children and other nonprofits.
“Brands’ constituents and consumers expect to have their questions answered and opinions heard, despite increasing distrust of almost every industry and institution in America. But people still trust people, and we see an opportunity to step up the role honest communications play in creating dialogues that embrace different perspectives,” Clayton said in a news release. “When a brand can talk with its audience, not at them, it grows trust, respect, and advocacy.”
Genuine Article Brand has 16 clients and operates in North Texas, Austin and Phoenix. The brand focuses on public relations, cause communications, issues management, public affairs and strategic marketing.
