Galentines with HerStory and Dwell with Dignity

HerStory and nonprofit Dwell with Dignity will partner together for a West Village pop up this weekend. The event will last from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day from Thursday, Jan. 27 trough Sunday, Jan. 30. There will be a number of female-owned brands to browse through.

RSVPS are required and are on the Galentine’s site.

The pop up will be at 3699 McKinney Ave Suite 405

Pop Popcorn Lake Highlands grand opening

The grand opening for Pop Popcorn is this Saturday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.. Of course popcorn will be available as well as candy, shaved ice and gifts.

Pop Popcorn is located in Lakeridge Village at 9850 Walnut Hill Ln Suite 431.

Rocky Horror Picture Show at Vector Brewing

Vector Brewing will host a late-night screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show at 10 p.m. this Saturday. It is a 21 and up only event, emphasis on no kids allowed. There will be special cocktails and snacks and it will be closed to the public after the showing starts.

Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the door.

Oak Highlands Brewery 

Oak Highlands is debuting a new raspberry Devil Snare Porter beer at the brewery from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. this Friday. This is their new beer launch party. Cane Rosso will also be there serving up hot pizza.

Oak Highlands Brewery is located at 10484 Brockwood Rd.

Twilight Brunch at Alamo Drafthouse

Sparkly vampires and werewolves and brunch, name a better combo. The first Twilight installment will be screening at Lake Highlands Alamo Drafthouse at 1:05 p.m. this Saturday.
