Here’s how the year-long freebie works: Purchase a $2 Frosty Key Tag at any participating Wendy’s restaurant or via their app, and you’ll receive a free Junior Frosty with purchase throughout 2022. That’s a delicious chocolate or vanilla Frosty – “thick enough to use a spoon, smooth enough to use a straw, and perfect when enjoyed on the end of a fry.”

Dave Thomas opened his first Wendy’s hamburger restaurant in 1969, and he named the business after Melinda Lou, his young daughter who struggled to pronounce her name. He was adopted as a baby and learned to appreciate the importance of hard work after his adoptive mother died and his adoptive father moved around the country seeking a job. All his life, Thomas has expressed gratitude for his adoptive family and the adoption process. His nonprofit specifically works to find permanent homes for the more than 150,000 children waiting in North America’s foster care systems.

You’ll find a list of Wendy’s locations in Dallas here, including the shop at Audelia and Walnut Hill and the one at Forest and 75. You’ll find a mouth-watering menu here.
