The pool at the Lake Highlands Family YMCA will reopen in January after a temporary closure.
Following renovations that started in October of 2019, the heated indoor pool is a bit closer to being ready. Due to the pandemic, work on the pool came to a pause until this summer.
The YMCA has plans to reopen the pool next month as soon as Jan. 8. They are also hiring life guards, swim instructors and water exercise leads.
