McCutcheon, a tactical paramedic captain with Plano Fire-Rescue, was recognized along with Plano police officer Rick Henderson for working to save the life of a subject who suffered multiple gunshot wounds in an officer-involved shooting August 31. The men worked as a team to assess and triage the subject’s wounds, and they applied chest seals to stabilize the subject’s condition until medical transportation arrived. Hospital emergency room physicians credited the duo’s work in saving the subject’s life.

Congratulations, Brad McCutcheon.
