Lake Highlands High School has earned a spot in the football playoffs, and neighbors are ready to cheer the team to victory. We’ll face South Grand Prairie at 7 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium Friday night.
The Wildcats finished second in district after losing a nail biter to Jesuit 48-45, but it didn’t matter much. As the top finishers in 7-6A Division I for larger schools, we’d have played SGP whether we beat Jesuit or not. The Wildcats appear ready for the matchup, having scored an average of 48.3 points per game and allowed just 14.4.
Tickets went on sale this morning/Monday at 8 a.m. online here. Adult tickets are $8 and student tickets are $6. The winner of our game will play the winner of Allen vs. Hebron. Go Cats!
