A coin toss decided where the Lake Highlands High School class of 2022 will be walking the stage.
The odds landed in their favor, picking the Wildcat-Ram Stadium as this year’s graduation location for all four Richardson ISD high schools.
The district moved to have graduation take place in an RISD stadium after receiving positive feedback from the community, superintendent Jeannie Stone shared before making the official toss. The stadiums will now switch off each year, with the Eagle-Mustang Stadium hosting the class of 2023.
LHHS class of 2022 will take part in the first ceremony at the stadium this spring, with graduation scheduled for 8 a.m. May 28.
Berkner High School seniors will walk the stage that night. Pearce and Richardson high schools will walk the stage May 29.
