A suspect has been identified in the June 26 fatal shooting along Audelia Road.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Tyrone Gilleylen (pictured above) for his role in the crime. Gilleylen was identified as a suspect by Dallas police and the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team is currently working to locate him.
Victim Aaron Maxwell, 24, was found inside his vehicle with a gunshot wound when officers responded to a shooting call the evening of June 26. Maxwell was pronounced dead after being transported from 12900 Audelia Road, near the Dallas College Richland Campus, to a local hospital.
Police identified the car of a suspected vehicle June 27, and reported Gilleylen as a suspect in the homicide Aug. 18.
Crime stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to Gilleylen’s arrest.
