Richardson ISD students and staff have another opportunity to get vaccinated Aug. 5.
The district is partnering with GeneIQ to administer Pfizer vaccines from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the RISD Administration Building, 420 S. Greenville Ave., Richardson.
Those 12 and older are approved to receive the Pfizer vaccine, and RISD will host another event Aug. 27 for the second dose of those coming Aug. 5. GeneIQ is a state-approved vaccinator.
The shots are available at zero cost—the district just asks that those getting vaccinated bring a valid ID and insurance card. Vaccines are also free through a federal program for the uninsured.
