Forerunner Mentoring pairs volunteers with boys who need male role models.
All of Lake Highlands is welcome at Oak Highlands Brewery Saturday as Forerunning Mentoring celebrates the end of the school year. Besides a chance to party in the sunshine, families can wish Forerunner founder Zach Garza and his family farewell before they head to Waco for his new leadership role with The Mentoring Alliance. Forerunner’s new executive director, Stephen Murray, already a familiar face with mentors and boys in need of male role models, will be at the celebration to welcome families.
The come-and-go event at Oak Highlands Brewery will feature food trucks, face painting, sno-cones, bounce houses and more. OHB is at 10484 Brockwood near Royal Lane and 635.
